Credits and plans
What uses credits, what doesn't, and what happens when you run out.
Most of what you do in ClipWith runs on credits. Your plan grants a monthly balance, and you can top up if you run through it.
What uses credits
- Rendering a finished video
- Premium tools — dubbing, voice isolation, background removal, generated music
- Style matching — reading a reference and applying it
What doesn't
- Editing conversations that don't render anything
- Uploading, transcription and indexing within your plan's allowance
- Previewing, undoing, and browsing your projects
Running out
If a job would cost more than you have, it stops before starting and tells you what it needed. Nothing runs halfway and leaves you short.
If a render fails on our side, the credits are returned automatically — you're not charged for output you didn't get.
Checking your balance
The credit count sits in the editor's top bar. Settings → Billing has the full history: what was granted, what was spent, and on what.
