Matching a creator's style

Paste a video whose editing you like and get your own footage cut that way.

The hard part of getting an edit you want is usually describing it. You know the videos you like. Putting into words that what you're responding to is a 1.8-second cut rhythm and two-word caption cards is a different skill.

So don't describe it. Paste it.

How to use it

Open the style panel and paste a link to a video whose editing you like. ClipWith watches it and works out:

• how often it cuts, and where cuts land relative to speech
• how captions are set — placement, size, weight, how many words at a time
• how tight the pacing runs, and when it punches in

Then it applies those decisions to your footage.

What transfers, and what doesn't

Transfers: the editing. Cut rhythm, caption treatment, pacing, framing decisions.

Doesn't transfer: anything that belongs to them. No footage, no music, no logos. Simple text cards get rebuilt; a bespoke motion sequence is reported to you rather than faked.

Every frame in your output came from your upload.

Keeping some of your own

You can take part of a style and keep the rest of yours:

match the pacing but keep my captions

same energy, but slower

If a reference is too short or too static to read a rhythm from, the editor tells you rather than guessing.
