Exporting

Rendering a finished video, what the options mean, and where past exports live.

Export turns the edit into a real MP4. Everything before that point is a live preview assembled on the fly.

Rendering

Hit Export in the top bar. You choose:

• Aspect ratio — export the same edit at several shapes in one go if you need them
• Quality — preview quality for a quick check, or full quality for the version you post

Rendering happens on our machines, not in your browser, so you can close the tab. You'll get the file when it's done.

How long it takes

Roughly proportional to the length and complexity of the edit. A 30-second clip is quick; a 40-minute episode with captions throughout takes longer. Progress shows while it runs.

Credits

Renders cost credits by duration. The cost is shown before you start.

If a render fails on our side, the credits come back automatically — you aren't charged for output you didn't receive.

Past exports

Finished renders are listed under Exports in the left rail (and in the drawer on mobile), where you can download them again or re-render from the same edit.

Exports are kept for 90 days. The list shows how long each has left. Re-rendering an expired export is possible as long as the project still exists.
